About Skipster Sessions
Ahhh…Skipster Sessions.
These sessions and their meaning have evolved over time. There’s no concrete explanation of what makes up a skipster session, sometimes theyre planned, sometimes they’re impromptu, or sometimes an artist can’t sleep in the middle of the night and needs a creative outlet. Whether its done in the hallway of a strange school, a basement of a bar before a show, or over Skype, its our way of bringing to you, a musical moment in time. Musicians are spread out all over the world, as you obviously know, which is why we ask some specifically to sit down with a webcam and come up with something they like. Think of yourself as a voyeur, looking through the doorknob crack of one of your favorite artists practicing in their bedroom. Or better yet, pretend each session is a gift from the artist that they specifically emailed to you, as in most cases..is the truth. We’re just the medium. Enjoy.
